Race Format

Points will be tallied using your best 5 out of 6 rounds.

This allows “real world” scenarios to happen to where racers have to miss a race without taking away the chance for maximun points opportunity.

Points will be awarded based on the finsishing position overall in your class, not the number where you finsihed. For example, if you finish 4th in the B main, and the A main had 12 cars, you will get 14th place points, not 16th, because 2 cars bumped up. Each posistion will be seperated by 5 points for the first five spots, then 4 points, then 3 points through the rest of the field. (200, 195, 190, 185, 180, 176, 172, 168, 164, 160, 157, 154, etc….).

The racer who TQ’s each class will receive 5 bonus points to their final points total from the main event.
Qual points will be used best 2 out of 3 rounds. Qual points are a proven system that rewards consistency and also makes qualifying fair on outdoor tracks where conditions change throughout the day.

Heats will be a random sort and remain the same throughout the day, no resorts for time purposes and ease of race directing.

All heats are 5 minutes, A mains will be 30 minutes, B mains 15 minutes and lower mains 10 minutes

1/8 Expert Buggy
1/8 Buggy
1/8 Truggy
1/8 Electric Buggy (with minimum 5 entries per race, for marshalling requirements)
1/10 Electric truck (with minimum 5 entries per race, for marshalling requirements)

ALL CLASSES ARE WELCOME TO RACE AT EACH EVENT, BUT THE CLASSES ABOVE WILL BE SCORED FOR POINTS AND PAY THE ENTRY FEE FOR THE SERIES.

Entry fee will be $25 per class for points counting classes.

Cannot wait for the State Series to start up. They have got some great door prizes and prizes for the winners this year. On top of that, we are going to some top class tracks. Should be great!

hey guys anyway we can do a point system just for zoo city? through out the year?

May do one later in the year. With the NC series and the Tilley series going on first of the season, it would be hard for everyone to make a 3rd points series at the begining of the season.

Two more days until the first round of NC State Series. Purchased a Flip Recorder tonight. I am going to try to record each of the six rounds and post on here where Team Drivers from other states can see some of the tracks we run on. Should be a great weekend!

That will be cool! Should be a good series. Hope to see some of the ZCARs out front.

Cassie and I will do our best in 1/10 Pro Truck with the XTM Xcellerators. Very stiff competition in all classes this year!!
